Summer, 2025 Update

Hi folks,

Hope all is well. Just a quick update on my music stuff. I had a really incredible month of concerts in May and met a lot of great people. Finally starting to play outdoor concerts which are always fun. I'm all over the place in June.

I recently had a chance to talk with the Fitchburg Enterprise and Sentinel about the music life. You can read the article/interview if you're interested at this link.

I've playing a lot of gigs and selling a lot of CDs lately, but if you listen to music through streaming services like Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music etc, the two links below will connect you to whichever streaming service you use. If you have an Amazon Device you can also just say “Alexa play some music by Matt York”. Both Youtube and BandCamp allow you to listen to the albums for free. Click on the album covers below for more info.

I'll be at the Bigelow Library in Clinton, MA tonight (5/29) and the Worcester Public Library on Saturday afternoon (5/31). In June, I'm all over the place with concerts that are open to the public in Shrewsbury, Blackstone, Rochester, Wellfleet, Nahant, Black Hat Brewery on Father's Day in Bridgewater, Milford, Norton, Groton and Amherst. Find out details on all upcoming concerts at this link.

I was in Northampton, MA last weekend and stopped into a guitar shop there. They had this old Kay acoustic guitar from the 1960's for sale. It wasn't expensive. It was a guitar you could purchase through the Sears Catalog back in the day. It's made of plywood and holds no real value monetarily, but it sure looks cool and it also plays really nicely. I'll be bringing it to concerts in the future. I'm not a real knower of guitars and have always treated instruments like tools more than collectibles, but it's pretty cool that this guitar is older than me and looks like it's been played an awful lot through the years.

Thanks for your support,

Matt York
